Calling all the real women out there to show the world what women really look like. Not those air brushed ads and movies you see out there; I want real women, with all of our beautiful, and maybe some not so beautiful imperfections.
.

Who? Women 18 years-100 years old, mothers, grandmothers, women who have never had children, anyone who wants to somewhat-anonymously empower others out there, by showing them what a real woman’s body looks like. If you want to get an idea of what I’m going for here, this is going to be similar to this AMAZING site: The Shape of a Mother , except I want to make it for all women.
.
Why? It is my goal to show women young and old that no one is perfect out there. We need to see what real women look like, our true beauty without any airbrushing.
.

So what can you do? Send in pictures of yourself, whatever part of your body you want to focus on, all I ask is that your face is not shown. I want people to focus on the body, not the face. You can send in pictures of your body from the neck down, or just a picture of your breasts, legs, hips, etc; whatever you would like. If you prefer to wear clothing, that is fine too! I would love it if you could also include a little about yourself, including your age, any comments you have about yourself and your body, and if you would like, you can include your first name (no last names please).
.

I ask that all photos be tasteful and all entrants must be 18 years or older.
.

Where? I am currently having a page made on the Confident Beginnings site, titled Real Women. On that page will be links to all the photos/messages submitted. Once the page is up, you will be able to submit your photo and message there, but until then, I would love to start getting some pictures together.
.

Please send all submissions/questions to me (until the page is up): aprilk@confidentbeginnings.com

We can change the popular views about what women look like (or what some think they should look like), but its going to take all of us to make a change. So, please send in your photos and help make a difference for women everywhere!
