April has been professionally trained through 3 agencies to encapsulate placentas and is a an active member in the placentophagia world, connecting and learning from other specialists every day. She is also a board member and mentor for the placenta training organization APPA (The Association of Placenta Preparation Arts). She has also successfully completed training in blood borne pathogens and infection prevention as well as safe food handling. April has also been fortunate enough to personally experience the benefits of placental encapsulation two times- after her experience, she can’t help but tell everyone about how incredible placenta encapsulation can be.
